BOOK A WILD TALK
Come with us on assignments for National Geographic to the world’s largest national park in Northeast Greenland: Meeting the arctic wildlife, sailing with the Danish Navy, and staying with the famous Dog Sledge Patrol Sirius.
At the opposite side of the world on our way to Antarctica, we stopped in Papua New Guinea and ended up in a tribal war while photographing birds of paradise.
We briefly recall Amundsen and Scott’s epic race for the South Pole, how we made a world record and the meeting with the beautiful emperor penguins.
Lastly, we'll share the story of our most difficult expedition of all: Surviving a murder attempt and reinventing ourselves.
We journey in the footsteps of the greatest female ape researchers: Dian Fossey, Biruté Galdikas and Jane Goodall, who wrote the foreword to our WILD book.
A lifelong dream came true meeting the mountain gorillas in the heart of Congo, protected by rangers armed with AK47s. In Uganda we sat face to face with our closest relative, the chimpanzee and met the rare shoe bill on the White Nile. In Borneo we photographed wild orangutans from our canoe. On our most difficult assignment for National Geographic, we found the magical mandrills in the jungle of Gabon.
Lastly, we'll share the story of our most difficult expedition of all: Surviving a murder attempt and reinventing ourselves.
